On Saturday April, 24, 2010 from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm The United Way of Hernando County along with the Consumer Credit Counseling Service will be hosting a “Get the Facts” workshop. Get The Facts is geared towards educating and aiding families that are facing foreclosure or looking for answers in regards to their financial situation.

Topics that will be discussed will include: Learning How to Work with Your Lender, Identifying the Players, Understanding the Alternatives to Foreclosure and Defining Delinquency. You will have an opportunity to meet with HUD certified counselors as well as local housing authorities.
