The beautiful Florida Nature Coast combines old Florida ambiance with modern new communities. The area provides natural wilderness and a home to over 19 endangered or threatened species of wildlife, including the manatee, bald eagle, black bear and bobcat. Dotted with crystal clear springs, rivers and the Gulf of Mexico, the Florida Nature Coast offers some of the best fishing, boat tours and cave diving in the state.

Naturalist John Muir once described the Nature Coast as “A string of counties studded with emerald-like gulf waters, deep springs and rivers, stretching along the same Florida coast.” As most of the area has remained untouched, the opportunities for experiencing Native American sites, 100 year old oaks, and scenic rolling hills are still very much alive in the Nature Coast.
From the 72 degree year long water temperatures of Weeki Wachee Springs and the Crystal River Springs to the miles of Gulf of Mexico frontage, the Florida Nature Coast offers something for everyone.
