Fair Housing Act is Upheld by Real Estate Professionals

Filed under: National Real Estate — admin @ 11:47 pm

April of 2009 was the 41st anniversary of the Civil Rights Act of 1968 also known as the Fair Housing Act. This act prohibits discrimination in the sale, rental and financing of dwellings based on race, color, religion, sex and handicap. REALTORS recognize the importance of this event annually by reconfirming their commitment to uphold the fair housing laws with the “REALTORS Fair Housing Declaration”.
